Experience and Service Designer

Working directly with clients and also as a contractor through other agencies. Projects include providing prototypes to test site designs, UX audits and recommendations, competitive reviews, wireframes for sites, and task flows. Most recent project was as lead designer for an iOS app that required UX redesign and interaction design.

Senior Designer, Experience Design

Lead UX designer on two major responsive web projects: a customization web app for a luxury automotive client and an ecommerce replatform for a telecomunications client.

Conducted user interviews, sketched designs, made wireframes and user flows, built click-through prototypes, conducted usability tests, worked alongside front-end and back-end devs to realize designs, and optimized experience based on analysis of Clicktale reporting tools. Mentored junior designers and helped bring the UX team to the table for account-wide conversations.

Conducted ethnographic research and in-depth interviews with customers and employees to develop user archetypes, current state customer journeys, and future state service design blueprints.

Concepting, concept refinement, team facilitator for co-creation workshop with stakeholders.

Designed screens in ecommerce checkout flow according to patterns set by lead interaction designer.

Led a team of 16 volunteers to design a weekend-long service design hackathon. Interviewed past participants and volunteers to determine agenda and priorities.

Developed user tasks and information architecture for event website. Maintained site before, during, and after event.

Lead service designer on development of the online and offline patient support program. Developed a program that has flexibility to meet the distinct needs of each segment and remain within business constraints.

Lead digital strategist for launch of flagship product. Developed insights into digital activity and behaviors for patients, caregivers, prescribers, and non-prescribing healthcare professionals.

Havas Lynx was named one of PM360's Outstanding Innovators of 2014 for Healthcare Service Design.

Financial Services, Industrial Chemicals

Senior Strategist, Digital Strategy

Produced digital strategy that directly led to $1m in incremental work for financial services client. Developed insights on consumer behavior and industry trends and translated them into business recommendations.

Built relationships with client teams and CMOs during onboarding events and over the course of projects. Discerned between clients’ wants, needs, and goals and worked with clients to identify follow on work.

Coached OgilvyOne CEO and CFO on e-commerce industry trends and contributed e-commerce expertise to winning pitch of the national #2 sporting goods retailer. Published company blog articles on e-commerce trends. Developed retail omnichannel evaluation framework for comparison of client against best-in-class experiences.


International Development and Non-Profit

2004-2009

Human Rights, Microfinance, USAID Monitoring and Evaluation

Early career in international development as a fundraising assistant and project manager. Assistant producer for multimedia events in Italy and the United States featuring human rights activists to raise awareness. Co-founded a non-profit in West Africa focused on health and community-based education.
